It’s that time of year again! Streaming Media is running their annual 2018 Streaming Media Readers’ Choice Awards. They’re seeking nominations in various video-related categories, and DaCast would love to be in the running again this year!
And that’s where our loyal broadcasters come in! Our DaCast team is reaching out to our user base–that means you!–to drum up support for a 2018 nomination.

2018 Streaming Media Award Categories
As always, there are many categories for which broadcasters can nominate DaCast streaming solution.
This year, we think that the following two award categories best reflect our platform and services:
- Live Streaming Platform
- Small/Medium Business Video Platform
If you’d like to show your support for DaCast this year, just go to the following website and submit DaCast for either of the above two categories:
Nominations run through August 10th. After nominations close, voting for category finalists begins around August 17th and runs through September 21st. Finally, the top three finalists in each category will be announced in October–and we’d love to be one of the them!
History of DaCast & the Readers’ Choice Awards
In 2013, DaCast was nominated for best Live Video Platform and best Media & Entertainment Platform.
In 2014, DaCast was nominated for best Live Video Platform and best Enterprise Video Platform. The streaming service was selected as one of the finalists for the Enterprise Video Platform category. It was awarded as a runner up in that category.
Since 2013, DaCast has been nominated and among the 3 finalists in multiple categories for 5 years in a row. And we couldn’t have done it without all of you!
